I think it has been helpful for me to share my story and my struggles with other people and the Lord, and to not be so afraid to fail. When I applied to go to UT, it was a really big deal, because most of my family had just lived in the valley. I've learned it's okay to do something, even if you feel alone in it. :)  I think it's neat to think about the possibilities of making a difference and dreaming big, in our lives so that we can be used to inspire others to dream big.  It’s a lie that I can tend to still believe, but have seen a lot of growth in this area.
