Being a Mexican-American is Exhausting!

Latinos in the U.S. live in between two worlds. They’re Mexican (or Cuban/Honduran/Columbian…) and American. It’s a tough identity for students to live in. The above video is a perfect explanation of the reality of being a bi-cultural person, someone who fits in two worlds (and at the same time doesn’t fit in either).

Latinos are bi-cultural people. Part of our discipleship includes helping them grow in their understanding of their ethnic identity. We’ll post soon on a great resource we use in this area, a book called “Being Latino in Christ.”
